120 New Jobs As Boulder-Based Bobo's Opens 2nd Colorado Bakery
The new location is part of a nationwide expansion that will triple staff.

BOULDER, CO -- BoBo's began as a mother-daughter, rainy-day kitchen experiment. The Boulder-based company and producer of fresh, whole-grain snack bars, is now set for a nationwide expansion and opened its second Colorado bakery in Loveland on Jan. 31. According to company representatives, the new facility will help Bobo's to triple its local workforce and provide 120 bakers with new full-time positions.
“We are so pleased to announce the official opening of our secondary bakery,” says TJ McIntyre, CEO of Bobo’s in a statement. “Over the past year, the increased demand for our products has literally pushed us out our doors. Our team is excited to see what we are able to do with more space for ovens and more bakers. We’re poised for success in 2019 and a looking forward to the coming year.”

Bobo's plans to focus on production its new lines at the new facility, including Bobo’s Stuff’d Bars, Stuff’d Bites and Toaster Pastry products. The expansion comes on the heels of two years of strong growth: The 16-year-old company grew 70 percent in 2017, and 45 percent in 2018.
