Suspect cited for arson in open field in Boulder (kdvr.com) — Boulder fire and police crews quickly put out a small field fire near Yellow Pine Avenue and 10th Street on Monday, avoiding injuries or evacuations and limiting damage to a storage facility. A 51-year-old man was cited for fourth-degree arson, and city officials thanked regional fire and sheriff partners for their help.
   

5. Get Help Paying Your Heating Costs This Winter (bouldercounty.gov) — Boulder County is urging income-eligible residents to apply now for Colorado’s LEAP program, which helps cover a portion of winter heating bills and can repair or replace broken furnaces.
