6-Year-Old Falls 40 Feet From Eldora Ski Lift
The local girl was transported to Boulder Community Hospital.
NEDERLAND, CO -- A six-year-old Boulder girl was hospitalized after falling 40 feet from the Sundance lift at Eldora Mountain Resort, according to a report from the Boulder County Sheriff's Office. The fall occurred Sunday at approximately 1 p.m. and was immediately reported to the Eldora Ski Patrol.
Patrollers found the girl conscious and breathing. She was evacuated to the first aid room where American Medical Response ambulance paramedics responded and began treatment for possible pelvic and lower extremity injuries.
After being stabilized, she was transported by AMR to Boulder Community Hospital.
