Alert: Slash Pile Burns Continue This Week
Forest Service burns will take place near Jamestown and Ward.
BOULDER, CO -- If you see smoke rising near Jamestown and Ward this week, it could be a result of U.S. Forest Service controlled burns in the area. Weather conditions permitting, slash pile burns will take place in the area over the next few days.
Crews will be working in the James Creek area off of Peak to Peak Highway. Burns will start at 10 a.m. and end before sunset.
