Black Friday? Boulder Celebrates Beer Friday

The day after Thanksgiving is often known for its shopping deals, but Boulder County breweries have other ideas.

BOULDER, CO -- Not looking forward to the post-Thanksgiving shopping rush? Planning a day of deals that will leave you in need of refreshment? Miss out on the thing you wanted and need to drown your sorrows?

Boulder's breweries are here for you this Black Friday, and we've got your local guide to Beer Friday, coming to town this November 23.

Left Hand Brewing Co. -

From 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Longmont's Left Hand Tap Room will offer a free Beer for a Year certificate along with every $100 purchased in merchandise. The certificate will entitle the bearer to one growler fill a month for 12 months at over a $250 value. Other deals include the chance to buy three 6-packs and get the fourth free, and a chance to get a taste as the brewery taps some special archive and barrel-aged beers.

Liquid Mechanics Brewing Co. -

Over in Lafayette from 12 p.m. to 11 p.m., Liquid Mechanics will be hosting a barrel aged beer release. Both the Beasts of Bourbon and Coconut Anarchy Project will be available in bottles, with purchase limits to be determined. For a limited time, they will also have favorites Kahlua Marianas (Bourbon BA RIS w/ coffee/chestnut), Revolver (Bourbon BA RIS w/ coffee & orange peel), and Coffee/Coconut Anarchy Project on tap.

Parry's Pizzeria and Bar -

With locations around the state, including Longmont, Parry's claims that dark beers equal holiday cheer. All day on Friday, Parry's will be offering a sampling of rare, dark beers including Bourbon County Stout.

Boulder Beer Co. -

Boulder Beer is offering shoppers a chance to take advantage of deals with a pint in hand from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Black Friday. From 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.. their blowout sale will be happening at the brewhouse, and will feature t-shirts, tin tackers, tap handles, tap magnets, hats, sweatshirts, and more at steep discounts. They will also offer 15 percent off all full-priced merchandise and beer to go, as well as discounts on gift certificates. Finally, they will be tapping four 'black' beers available by the pint or in a 4-pour taster flight.
