Boulder Deli Makes Colorado's Best Sandwich, Says People Magazine

BOULDER, CO – A new list in People Magazine purports to identify the best sandwich in Colorado. The online list of the "best sandwich in every state" is part of a survey for which the magazine teamed up with the online restaurant guide “The Infatuation.” At Salvaggio’s Deli restaurant, with locations in Boulder and Denver, the magazine recommended the Hot #3 Cheesesteak sandwich.

Apparently, People Mag is uncovering a previously unknown Boulder, Colorado "infatuation" with American cheese.

Here’s what People wrote was notable about the Hot #3:

"The hot #3 Cheesesteak at this Italian deli comes with all the fixin’s: American cheese, onions, peppers and mushrooms."

The deli's original location is at 2609 Pearl St. in Boulder. There's also a location in Denver.

People writes that they considered The Infatuation’s expertise when compiling the list and paid special attention “to eateries serving regionally-inspired dishes and using locally-sourced ingredients.”
