Boulder Downtown Murder Trial: Sebastian Testifies In Own Defense
Trial continues as Sebastian claims self-defense in fatal summer downtown shooting incident.
BOULDER, CO -- Testimony continued yesterday in the two-week trial of Louis Sebastian, charged with murder in the 2017 fatal shooting of a man outside a downtown Boulder restaurant. The Daily Camera's Mitchell Byars has been providing live and daily coverage throughout the proceedings.
On Wednesday, Sebastian took the stand to speak on his own behalf with claims of self-defense. According to the Camera's reporting, Sebastian stated that he was suffering from a medical issue at the time that made him feel vulnerable, motivating the his decision to carry a gun for protection to a croquet party.
