Boulder's Fastest-Growing Private Companies: Inc.com

BOULDER, CO — Many businesses in Boulder are among the fastest-growing private companies in the United States, according to a new list released by Inc.com.

The annual list highlights 5,000 of the country’s fastest-growing companies, which are ranked by overall revenue growth over a three-year period. The top 500 are then featured in the September issue of Inc. Magazine.

The fastest-growing company in Boulder is Ivy.ai, according to this year’s list. The software company is an artificially intelligent self-service chatbot for universities and colleges.

In all, the company grew more than 2,511 percent in the past year.

In total, this year’s honorees brought in $248 billion in revenue and added more than 2.5 million jobs to the U.S. economy. Honorees must apply to be selected.

Across the U.S., the top of this year’s list is Human Bees, a Lathrop, California-based staffing firm that has found employees for companies including Tesla and FedEx. Overall, the company recorded a year-over-year growth of 48,345 percent.

Companies that have made the list in the past include Pandora, 7-Eleven, Toys R Us, Zipcar and Zappos.com
