Boulder's Winter Walk And Bike Week 2019 Hits Feb. 4–10

Get registered, learn about events, and map out the most efficient free breakfast route.

BOULDER, CO -- Two times each year, Boulder adults can get hop on their bikes in the early morning, potentially don costumes, and race around town collecting free breakfast from local businesses before the clock strikes nine — and one chance for 2019 is coming up next week. Boulder will again be hosting Winter Walk and Bike week events, culminating in Winter Bike to Work Day on Friday, Feb. 8.

Participants can commit to ride on the international Winter Bike to Work Day webpage, earning points for our fair city in rankings that include everywhere from Zagreb to Winnepeg (at the time of this writing, Boulder was ranked third).

A full list of the week's events can be found on Boulder's Winter Walk and Bike Week page. In addition to Friday's commute, the City's Open Space and Mountain Parks Department will be hosting a "Winter on Wheels" wheelchair scavenger hunt and experience, and the Boulder Ramblers will be hosting a Longmont-to-Boulder Choose Your Own Adventure walk.
