- The city of Boulder's Youth Opportunities Internship Program is back and applications are currently being accepted. According to the city's Facebook page, internships are open to students attending high school and residing in the city of Boulder who will be entering their junior or senior year in fall 2023. During the six-week paid internships, interns will be matched with a city department to gain experience in city government. Opportunities include: Equity Ambassador Team Intern, Youth Opportunities Program Intern, Homeless Services Intern, Affordable Housing Policy and Planning Intern and Park Planning and Design Intern. - Look out lovey, dovey couples, because the pets at the Humane Society of Boulder may steal all your hugs and kisses this Valentine's Day. Visit the Humane Society this weekend and bring home the purrfect Valentine. The Society is offering waived adoption fees for all animals, one year and older, who have been at HSBV for 14 days or longer, making it the perfect time to add a new furry friend to your family.
