Burglaries, Theft Of Women's Underwear Under Investigation At CU

Multiple crimes have taken place in at least four dormitories over the last few weeks.

BOULDER, CO -- University of Colorado police are investigating multiple thefts and burglaries that took place inside of residence halls over the past few weeks. The buildings reported affected are Aden, Brackett, Cockerell and Crosman, according to a press release from the University of Colorado police. In at least one case, investigators determined that women's underwear had been stolen from the residence hall's laundry room.

Police are searching for a male suspect captured in surveillance camera footage, and say that he entered the dormitories between 2 and 4 a.m. each visit. The suspect is described as having brown hair, a beard, glasses, and was wearing a black baseball cap in multiple incidents.

In a second release, police say that a woman reported that a man may have taken photos or video of a female student in the shower, however investigators have not determined if the incidents are connected.
