Camp Galileo Opens In East Boulder

Acclaimed Summer Camp Expands Hands-on STEAM Learning Opportunities in Colorado

Camp Galileo, the educational STEAM-inspired summer camp with over sixty-five locations, is pleased to announce that it is opening its newest location, in East Boulder, this summer at Horizons K-8 Charter School from June 10-July 26.

"As an educator, parent, and community member in Boulder, I'm grateful to be part of Camp Galileo, which blends safety, fun, and STEAM exploration,” said Kim Dembo, Camp Galileo East Boulder Camp Director, who is also an East Boulder parent. “It's a privilege to contribute to an initiative aligning with our community's passion for learning and recreation.”

Camp Galileo empowers children from kindergarten through eighth grade to think and create like innovators through a dynamic blend of science, technology, engineering, arts and math (STEAM) projects, combined with hands-on collaboration and plenty of classic outdoor summer camp fun. Camp Galileo’s proprietary Galileo Innovation Approach teaches children to blend knowledge, process and a growth mindset to turn ideas into reality, while practicing the lifelong skills of collaboration, persistence and resilience. All of this is achieved while having fun working on individual projects and mind-expanding team challenges.
