  1. Free! Nothing is free anymore in today's day and age, so Boulder Arts Commission decided to do something a little different. In an effort to support the area arts community, Boulder Arts Commission will be offering up to 12 days per year of free performance space usage at eTown, the multi-purpose building, downtown on Spruce Street that serves as a music venue. According to BizWest, "program guidelines, eligibility and applications can be found at the Boulder Office of Arts and Culture webpage." (BizWest)
  2. If you’re hoping to add a fluffy ball of four-legged love and affection to your life, look no further than these shelters in the Boulder area for a pet to adopt. We've created this week’s list of animals available for adoption near you. Whether you’re looking for cuddles or companionship, one of these animals could be the perfect fit for your family. If you're a dog person, you might like Bud, a Terrier up for adoption. Or if cats are more your thing, there are several great cats available, too. (Boulder Patch)
  3. Have you ever considered becoming a court-appointed special advocate (CASA) volunteer with Boulder Voices for Children? If you have and you would like to learn more, the monthly CASA 101 sessions, which held via Zoom, provide an overview of the role and what you can expect as a volunteer. During this time you'll have the opportunity to meet with staff, learn more about Boulder Voices for Children, and get all your questions answered. CASA 101s are held the first Thursday of each month from 5-5:30 p.m. The next meeting is coming up March 2. (Boulder Voices for Children via Facebook)
