A drag sled was used as a rescue tool in the snowy Tuesday incident.

BOULDER, CO -- A 29-year-old woman required rescue in the area of North Boulder's Dakota Ridge Trail Tuesday afternoon when she became unable to walk off the trail due to back pain. Rescuers hiked to her location one-half mile from the parking area. She was evaluated and stabilized for transport and a drag sled was used to move her back to the parking area before she was transported to an area hospital.
