Jeopardy All-Star Game To Feature Longmont Teacher

Two-time Jeopardy winner and local third-grade teacher Jennifer Giles will make her first appearance in the All-Star Game tonight.

LONGMONT, CO -- Longmont's own Jennifer Giles is set to return to the podium tonight as a part of the Jeopardy All-Star Game. Giles, who teaches third grade at Columbine Elementary, won the game show's 2015 Teacher's Tournament and was a quarterfinalist in the Tournament of Champions the same year.

This time, Giles will be appearing as a part of a team that includes nine-time champion Buzzy Cohen of Los Angeles, CA, and six-time champion Alex Jacob of Greensboro, NC. The trio will make their first appearance in tournament play with games Feb. 20–22, competing for a chance to advance to the finals March 4–5. This is the first time that Jeopardy has been played in the team format.
