Man Found Dead Near Pine Brook Hills: Boulder Police
The man was found near his truck by a volunteer firefighter.

BOULDER, CO -- Boulder County officials are investigating the death of a man who was found in the 200 block of High View Drive in unincorporated Boulder County on Wednesday afternoon, Jan. 16, according to a report from the Boulder County Sheriff's Office. Shortly before 2 p.m., a volunteer firefighter who had happened upon the body called the Boulder County Communications Center to report the death.
The firefighter was on his way to an unrelated medical call when he saw a truck parked along the side of the road. He got out to check on the truck and found a 59 year-old male, obviously deceased, on the side of the road next to the vehicle.
When deputies and additional medical personnel responded to the scene, they confirmed the death. Detectives from the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office and investigators from the Boulder County Coroner’s Office also responded to continue the investigation.

At this time, the cause and manner of the man’s death is still under investigation, but foul play is not suspected. The man is not believed to be a resident of that neighborhood or the immediate area, according to the sheriff's report. His identity is being withheld until notification to next of kin can be made.
