- Boulder Built has purchased Boulder Wellness Cannabis Company located at 5420 Arapahoe Avenue. Boulder Built is owned by Orian Hurley who is a Boulder native. Reportedly, Hurley doesn't plan on changing the name of the place or the layout of the business, but he does plan to bring in some new employees. (Westword)
- The local real estate scene is always shifting, and there are a variety of homes to browse these days. As part of our weekly real estate roundup, we're bringing you some recently listed and interesting houses to hit the market in the Boulder area. (Boulder Patch)
- Resource Central and Community Foundation Boulder County have partnered to offer up to 200 square feet of colorful waterwise garden kits to Marshall Fire victims. According to Fox31 Denver, " a waterwise garden is an alternative to turf grass and uses about half the water of a traditional grassy yard. With it being well irrigated, it could help during any future fires." In addition, Resource Central is also donating building materials and free tool rentals to help victims rebuild. - Boulder County Sheriff's Office: "We have Community Service Officers who assist our patrol deputies in taking reports and help respond to reports coming in via our online incident reporting service. A community member recently wrote to us about her interaction with CSO CSO Howland. She wrote, "I want to share my very positive experience working with Christine Howland in the past week. I was the victim of a Geek Squad scam. I worked with Christine from your office." She went on to write, "She gave me clear specific advice on how to move forward. She proactively worked with my bank. I appreciate how she has worked with me emotionally as I was feeling very fragile especially on the day of the fraud. She was present to my mood and at the same time moved forward with gathering her data, telling me what are recommended courses of action from dealing with my bank to credit card agencies. Christine is warm, caring, fun, and engaging. I am sure she brought other important qualities that I don't recognize right away. But I do know, I feel very lucky to have her on my team."
Great work OSO Howland!." (Boulder County Sheriff's Office via Facebook) - Boulder Mountainbike Alliance: "Rutter Report: Headed up Sourdough from Beaver Res Rd to see what I could see. Overall, conditions are really good—packed and firm. A few ruts here and there likely from warm, soft conditions over the weekend but nothing too adverse." (Boulder Mountainbike Alliance via Facebook)
- Boulder County Government: "Join cyclists around the world on Friday, Feb. 10, to celebrate Winter Bike to Work Day! This annual event encourages seasoned cyclists to brave the elements and ride to work on their bikes." (Boulder County Government via Facebook)
