Miner's Blast Brings Chili, Pumpkins, And Trucks To Erie

Annual festival is ready to fill Erie residents young and old with the spirit of the season.

ERIE, CO - The annual Miner's Blast family festival is back in town in Erie this Saturday, and with it come hay rides, a corn maze, a haunted house, and a petting zoo. From 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. there will be live music at the Coal Creek Park venue, featuring the local Center for Musical Arts Jazz Trio directed by Steve Christopher and ENERJAZZ.

For those who work up an appetite making crafts, hunting for treasures, or competing in Touch-a-Truck, the Erie Town Chili Cook-Off, local food vendors, and a beer garden will provide excellent options to fill an empty stomachs. There will be activities to entertain kids at every vendor booth, while adults can admire vintage cars at the annual Garage Rats Car Show.

Full day tickets are available for $10, and every child will leave with a complimentary pumpkin to kick off the Halloween season.
