LAS VEGAS, NV — Star New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara was arrested on a felony battery charge after playing in the Pro Bowl on Sunday in Las Vegas.

Around 6 p.m. Saturday, police were sent to a hospital where someone reported a battery, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said in a news release. The person said they were beaten at a nightclub on South Las Vegas Boulevard, near West Flamingo Road.

Investigators determined the person was beaten by a suspect later identified as Kamara, police said. Kamara was taken into custody without incident Sunday afternoon and booked at the Clark County Detention Center on a felony charge of battery resulting in substantial bodily harm.
