Parade Of Lights In Boulder County: Longmont, Erie, Louisville
From Jamestown to Superior, find out when and where each community will celebrate the opening of the holiday season.

BOULDER, CO -- Filled with Girl and Boy Scouts, high school marching bands, costumes, music, and candy, it's tough to pass up your town's Parade of Lights as a way to kick off the holiday season. With many of the local editions scheduled for this weekend, now is the time to plan just how you will get your family into the spirit.
Boulder -
Boulder's Lights Of December Parade will feature fire engines, holiday carolers, marching bands, and a visit from Santa Claus in a route that winds around the Pearl Street Mall. It takes off at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 1.

Erie -
Erie promises school choirs, free hayrides, complimentary s'mores, and a living nativity scene as highlights of its parade. The event starts at 5 p.m. at the corner of Briggs and Moffat on Friday, Dec. 7.

Jamestown -
Jamestown doesn't have a parade scheduled, but it will have a community tree lighting, complete with a local artisan fair, cookie exchange, and a chance to help decorate the town square. Events begin at 10 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 8th, with the tree-lighting scheduled for 6 p.m.
Longmont -
The theme for the 2018 Longmont Lights celebration is "Jingle Bell Rock." The event features a Santa's Workshop craft station, live reindeer and ice sculpting. There is a full weekend of events planned for Dec. 7 and 8, with the parade taking off at 5 p.m. Saturday.
Louisville -
Louisville's event will feature a petting zoo, musical entertainment, and visits with Santa. The parade starts at 7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 7.
Lyons -
The Lyons Parade of Lights comes with a fireworks show, floats, and a holiday bazaar. It begins at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 1.
