Boulder Police Arrest Man In Pants-Swap Stabbing Incident
Police believe the victim was stabbed in the back in the morning incident near 28th and Arapahoe.

BOULDER, CO -- A man was arrested by Boulder police this morning, Jan. 22, in connection with a stabbing incident that occurred near 28th Street and Arapahoe Avenue at about 10 a.m. Jared Womack, 37, is now being held at the Boulder County Jail on charges of first degree assault, robbery, and theft, according to a press release from the Boulder Police Department.
Police believe that Womack stabbed another man in the back after he agreed to exchange pants with the second man and did not like the ones that he received. They say he then went to the Eddie Bauer store located at 1750 29th St., where he attempted to steal a different pair of pants.
The second man was transported to a Boulder Community Health facility with life threatening injuries.
