Public Poverty Simulation On Sunday In Boulder

Boulder's cost of living is high–come get a better understanding of what a family living on poverty wages experiences in our city.

BOULDER, CO -- Boulder County can seem like a tough place to get by for a lot of people–a family of four needs an estimated $80,000 a year to pay for health care, transportation, child care, housing, taxes, and other costs. A workshop hosted by Boulder County Circles Campaign this Sunday afternoon, however, will challenge participants to figure out how to make ends meet for a simulated family living at the poverty level, with a budget of just $24,300.
