  1. Be aware of road work in Boulder this week. On Monday, February 20, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. 20th Street between Pearl Street and Walnut Street will be closed for crews to perform tree removal and maintenance. In addition, ongoing work will be taking place on the 30th Street and Colorado Avenue underpass project. Left turns will be restricted westbound, eastbound and southbound for underpass construction. There will also be sidewalk detours. (The southeast quadrant sidewalks will be closed.) Pediatrics are being asked to use temporary crossings at 30th/Euclid Avenue and Colorado west of the intersection. Cyclists are being asked to merge with traffic. Please note, the northbound bus stop on 30th (BOUND) is closed. Board at the next stop. This work has an expected end date of March 31. Additional construction is being done at the Hill Hotel. Westbound Pleasant is open for local traffic from Broadway to the alley. The eastbound lane is closed. This project includes the demolition of old buildings and waterline and new sewer work. This work will be taking place during weekedays from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. only. The end date for this project is expected to be January 31, 2024. Please take note of these road closures and detours, follow directions and drive safely! (Colorado Hometown Weekly)
  2. Officials have determined that the three finalists announced in January for the new police monitor position, unfortunately, lacked the skills and experience needed for the job. So, the city of Boulder's search for a new police monitor continues. (Boulder Reporting Lab via Facebook)
  3. Weather watch: There is a high wind watch for the Front Range Mountains and Foothills Sunday evening through Monday evening. High winds are possible Sunday evening through Monday, with gusts around 80 mph in wind-prone areas. Be careful! (NWS Boulder via Twitter)

She is about 1.5 years and 37 pounds, was found as a stray in the Navajo Nation. She is vaccinated and healthy.
