Tornado Warning Issued For Parts Of Colorado
The National Weather Service has issued a tornado warning for parts of Jefferson, Adams, Boulder and Broomfield counties.
BOULDER, CO — Weather officials have changed a severe thunderstorm warning to a tornado warning for parts of Boulder, Adams, Jefferson and Broomfield counties.
Regions impacted include:
- Southeast Boulder County
- West central Adams County
- Southwest Broomfield County
- Northeast Jefferson County
Wind could gust up to 60 mph and golf-ball size hail is possible until at least 3:15 p.m., the National Weather Service said.

"Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter," the alert read. "Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely."

"TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building," the alert read. "Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter
and protect yourself from flying debris."
