Skier Dies After Crashing Into Tree On Eldora Mountain
A woman died after a ski accident at Eldora Mountain Ski Resort, officials said.

BOULDER COUNTY, CO — A skier died Wednesday after she crashed into a tree on Eldora Mountain, the Boulder County Sheriff's Office said.
A 77-year-old woman was skiing when she crashed on the Muleshoe Run at Eldora Mountain Ski Resort, authorities said.
First responders were called to the area just before 2:30 p.m. and tried to save her life, but she was pronounced dead, the sheriff's office said.

"Foul play is not suspected, however the investigation remains on-going," the office said in a news release.
The Boulder County Coroner's Office identified the woman as Barbara Nelson, of Erie. The office will determine the woman's official cause of death, officials said.

Members from the Eldora Ski Patrol, Nederland Fire Department, LifeLine Air Ambulance and American Medical Response were called to the crash.
