Storm Alert: Winter Weather Advisory Issued For Wednesday
The National Weather Service has issued an advisory for the Boulder area between noon Wednesday and 5 a.m. Thursday.

BOULDER, CO -- The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for the Boulder area from noon Wednesday through 5 a.m. Thursday. Current forecasts call for two to five inches of accumulation in the Front Range urban corridors, and more than a foot is possible as you travel up into the foothills.

Temperatures will drop quickly as the cold front moves through, so roads will ice quickly and make for a difficult driving conditions by late afternoon Wednesday. The National Weather Service is warning that evening commutes will be slow and challenging, and is asking drivers to plan ahead.
