  1. Conveying their concern about guns at school, University of Colorado students made a request to the Board of Regents. Students reportedly asked that carrying a concealed weapon on campus be prohibited. According to Fox 31 Denver, "The mass shooting at the King Soopers in Boulder is one of the reasons they are fighting for a ban on all weapons. Gun rights groups say concealed weapons can make a campus safer." (FOX 31 Denver)
  2. In celebration of Black History Month art galleries all around Boulder are open throughout the month, highlighting Black artists. According to 9 News.com KUSA, "Their goal is for people to not only see beautiful art, but also learn something new and leave with more knowledge."   3. Do you like to relax and have a nice hot cup of afternoon tea? Well, you are in the right place! Boudler's own Hotel Boulderado has made the famed Historic Hotels of America's annual list of the 25 best afternoon tea experiences in the United States. The premier luxury hotel opened its doors in 1909, but reportedly did not begin serving its holiday (during the months of November and December) afternoon tea until the 1990s.
