Sugar Plum Tea Party Saturday And Sunday In Longmont

The intimate events help to raise money for the Centennial State Ballet.

LONGMONT, CO -- Centennial State Ballet will host their 16th annual Sugar Plum Tea Party this weekend at the Xilinx Retreat Center in Longmont. Participants will enjoy a magical afternoon of warm tea, sweet and savory snacks, harp music, a mini-Nutcracker performance and a souvenir photo taken with the Sugar Plum Fairy.

All proceeds from the event will benefit the Centennial State Ballet, a non-profit youth ballet organization. The Ballet promises the event will be the perfect introduction to the classic holiday tradition of The Nutcracker for young audience members and will include interactive portions for children.

Advanced reservations required, and tickets are expected to sell out. There will be a seating from 1-3 p.m. and 4-6 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday. Tickets are available through the Centennial Ballet's website for $35 per person. The event also offers a Nutcracker boutique with themed gifts for sale.
