Time Traveling: Walker Ranch Hosts Vintage Baseball Game
Annual Autumn Heritage Days where "participation is part of the fun."
BOULDER, CO - Instead of vacuuming your own house on Sunday, how about heading up to Walker Ranch and trying your hand at the chores of yore? Boulder County Parks and Open Space are hosting the annual Autumn Heritage Day and Vintage Baseball game tomorrow from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Visitors at the free event will have the chance to try their hand at churning butter, doing laundry on a washboard, or making buttons. Other activities include ribbon braiding, embroidery, historic versions of games, and demonstrations by a blacksmith.
The baseball game will tee off at noon, and Boulder County Parks and Open Space requests that dogs and bikes spend the day at home.
