TriBoulder Duathlon, Triathlon: Route Map, Schedule, Safety
The races will be held Saturday in Boulder County. Here's what you need to know if you're driving along the route.

BOULDER, CO — The TriBoulder Duathlon and Triathlon will be held Saturday in Boulder County.
The races are set to start and end at the Boulder Reservoir, and no roads will close for the event.
The first race is set to start at 7 a.m. Riders will be single file and spread out, and all cyclists will be off the road by 12:30 p.m., organizers said.

"A sweep vehicle will follow the last cyclists and alert the police and course marshals along the way so that traffic can return to normal as soon as possible," Boulder County officials said in a news release.
"If you are traveling through the area during the event please pay close attention to the Boulder County Sheriffs, Colorado State Patrol and the volunteer traffic marshals who will be helping to make this a safe situation for everyone involved."

When passing a cyclist, drivers must allow at least 3 feet of space, officials said. Drivers can cross a double yellow center line if oncoming traffic is clear.
