Two Alleged Indecent Exposure Incidents Near Middle School: Cops

The Boulder Valley School District issued a warning to families after two reports of a man exposing himself to students walking home.

BOULDER, CO -- Local police are seeking information about an unknown man who reportedly exposed himself on two occasions to female students walking home from Manhattan Middle School on Dec. 4, according to a press release from the Boulder Police Department. At the time of each incident, the man was reportedly naked, apart from a grey beanie, while driving a silver sedan with a loud muffler and masturbating. When the victims, 12 and 13-years-old, realized what was going on they both ran home.

The suspect is described as a white male between 5’6” and 6’ tall, with brown eyes and an average build. Investigators were able to confirm information related to these incidents and obtain a composite sketch of the man.

Boulder Police have increased patrols in the area, and request that anyone who may have additional information on this case should call Detective Matt Greer at 303-441-4322. Those who have information but wish to remain anonymous may contact the Northern Colorado Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).

The Boulder Valley School District issued a separate warning to families, asking that everyone in the the area near Manhattan School of Arts and Academics be vigilant and use caution.

The school district also encouraged students to follow the tips developed by Kids Smartz, a website developed by the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children:
