COLORADO SPRINGS, CO — Police arrested a man on Saturday they accuse of assault and menacing with a firearm at a convenience store. Police say they responded to the 1800 block of South Nevada Avenue around 1 a.m. Saturday, March 30.Employees of the store identified Corey Burrows, 21, as the suspect. "The suspect was a regular customer and was quickly identified by employees and officers that were familiar with the suspect," a police blotter says.Police quickly found Burrows at his nearby residence and arrested him without incident, the blotter says.Burrows was booked on charges of second degree assault and felony menacing.
