By CBS Denver Staff:

A small public school serving Indigenous students is hoping to grow its enrollment and add more grades. But now Denver Public Schools says the school has not met enrollment estimates or received its anticipated grant funding, so the school is receiving $820,000 less in funding than originally budgeted.

Educators at the American Indian Academy of Denver (AIAD) are asking the Denver school board to ensure the school will not close as the district ponders how it will manage falling enrollment around the city.
