Another Red Flag Warning Issued For Metro Denver, Boulder

"Outdoor burning should be avoided, as well as any activities that may produce a spark," the National Weather Service said in an alert.

DENVER, CO — The National Weather Service has issued another red flag warning for Denver's metro area and Boulder.

A red flag warning is issued when there are critical fire weather conditions.

The warning will be in effect from noon until 8 p.m. Sunday for most eastern Colorado counties:

Humidity could reach as low as 14 percent, and winds are expected to gust between 15 and 25 mph, but could gust up to 35 mph, weather officials said.

"Any fire that develops will have the potential to spread rapidly," the weather alert reads.
