Arvada Grass Fire Now Under Control

ARVADA, CO — A grass fire was reported in Arvada in the area of 86th and Fenton St., police officials said. House-to-house evacuations were conducted from 84th Ave north to 86th Ave and Sheridan West to Gray Ct.

The fire, according to officials, was moving east toward Sheridan.

As of 1 p.m., Arvada Police tweeted that the fire is under control and the evacuations have been lifted.
