Broncos Fire Coach Vance Joseph

After season-ending loss to Los Angeles Chargers, John Elway pulled the plug on coach Vance Joseph.

DENVER, CO – Broncos coach Vance Joseph was fired by Broncos general manager John Elway Monday after a losing game versus the Los Angeles Chargers Sunday night, which ended a 6-10 season, NFL Network reported.

Joseph has been coaching the Broncos for two years, during which time the team has a record of 11-21. The team has suffered from the lack of viable quarterback.

Joseph issued a statement saying, "It's disappointing not being able to finish what we started, but I'm incredibly proud of the players and coaches for how they fought and worked every week...This is a special place with great fans. Holly and I, along with our entire family truly enjoyed being part of this community and wish the Broncos all the best."
