Colorado Weather: Hazardous Outlook Amid Thunderstorms, Large Hail,

A hazardous weather outlook was again issued for much of Colorado, including Denver, Boulder and the surrounding suburbs.

DENVER, CO — A hazardous weather outlook has again been issued for much of Colorado as the state expects to see scattered thunderstorms Thursday afternoon, with blustery winds, large hail, heavy rain and possible flash flooding.

The National Weather Service's hazardous weather outlook includes Denver, Boulder and the surrounding suburbs. Isolated to scattered thunderstorms were expected Thursday afternoon, and some could be strong, the service warned.

"There is potential for burn area flash flooding especially over the East Troublesome and Cameron Peak burn areas," the weather service said.

AccuWeather forecasted 0.04 inches of rain in Denver and 15 mph wind gusts Thursday, with temperatures hovering around 91 degrees. It will feel like 100 degrees in Denver, AccuWeather said.

In Boulder, AccuWeather predicted 0.04 inches of rain will fall, along with gusts of 10 mph. Temperatures were to hover around 85 degrees, but it will feel like 95 degrees.
