Denver Public Schools Cancel Classes For Impending Blizzard
DPS will cancel classes and after school activities for Wednesday, March 13, the district announced Tuesday.

DENVER, CO – Denver Public Schools will close all schools Wednesday, Mar. 13 due to expected blizzard and white-out conditions.
"[A]ll DPS schools and administrative offices will be closed tomorrow, Wednesday, March 13. All school-related events and activities that were scheduled for Wednesday are also cancelled," the district tweeted Tuesday afternoon.

Beginning around 11 a.m. Wednesday, the metro Denver area is expected to experience blizzard and white-out conditions, lasting until Thursday morning and dumping between three to seven inches of snow, the National Weather Service said.
"Heavy snow and gusty winds are predicted, with significant travel impacts," NWS said.
