Former Bronco Demaryius Thomas Arrested For Vehicular Assault

Thomas was arrested for a single-car rollover accident Feb. 16 that injured two passengers.

DENVER, CO — Denver police have arrested former Denver Broncos Wide Receiver Demaryius Thomas for vehicular assault, Denver police confirmed.

Thomas was driving a silver Ford Edge with two other passengers Feb. 16 on Aurora Parkway around 12:20 a.m. when his car lost control and rolled over, crossing a raised median, an arrest affidavit reported. The two passengers were taken to a nearby hospital with injuries. Thomas suffered minor injuries in the crash.

In 2012, Thomas was charged with careless driving and pleaded guilty to driving an unsafe vehicle, according to FOX31.

The Broncos traded Thomas to the Houston Texans last fall. The team released him earlier this month.
