Here are the top four stories in Denver today:

  1. With Pride Month kicking off, Denver Pride will host its two-day PrideFest the weekend of Jun. 24 and Jun. 25. The festival will feature a Pride 5K, over 250 exhibitors, and a parade. The weekend is anticipated to potentially have over 535,000 people in attendance, according to Denver Pride. (FOX 31 Denver)
  2. Electric RV company Lightship announced that it has signed a lease agreement on a Denver-area facility in nearby Broomfield, Colorado. Lightship is set to begin operations at the new 32,000-square-foot facility in 2024, and is projected to add dozens of jobs to the area with the expansion. (The Business Journals)
  3. After 25 years in business, Hard Rock Cafe's Denver Pavilions location, the only current Hard Rock location in Colorado will close on Saturday, Jul. 29. The Cafe's closure comes as a result of its lease on 16th Street ending, but the company has stated it is open to having another Denver location if a space is identified. (9News)
  4. At last night’s first NBA Finals match against the Miami Heat, the Denver Nuggets took home the win. The Nuggets will only need three more wins to be crowned NBA Champions for the 2023-2024 NBA Basketball season. (USA Today)

On Sunday, Jun. 25, the 8th annual Corgis and Friends Take Over Denver event to benefit nonprofit Paws All In The City will take place at Lowry’s Great Lawn Park.
