Hipster-Bearded Alleged Car Thief Wanted By Denver Police

Denver police are offering a $2,000 reward for information leading to a man who allegedly used a stolen car for a "crime spree."

DENVER, CO – Denver police and Metro Denver Crime Stoppers are offering a $2,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of a man caught on video who was thought to have stolen multiple cars in December.

Police said the man, pictured with a full beard, allegedly stole a vehicle in the early morning Dec. 29 from the 1600 block of Pearle Street in Denver and "proceeded to go on a crime spree" that allegedly included burglary and theft. The unknown man allegedly also stole a 2005 Silver Chevy Equinox (pictured below) in the 4200 block of North King Street. The stolen car had Colorado license plate XQI146. That car has not yet been recovered, police said.

The man was described by police as a white male, in his late 20s-early 30s, 5’8’’ tall and weighing around 180 lbs., with reddish brown hair and a full beard. He was wearing glasses, a blue coat, blue jeans, and black shoes.
