Class is now in session at the new Ivybrook Academy campus in Parker, a southeastern suburb of Denver. Ivybrook Academy is a one-of-a-kind half day preschool that offers a progressive approach to early childhood education. The new educational facility is located on Twenty Mile Road near the intersection of Lincoln Meadows Parkway in Parker.

“Our first school year is underway, and it’s a dream come true being able to provide this unique approach to learning to young families in our area,” says Yamile Greiving, who is principal and co-owner of this location along with her husband, Brian. “There is nothing like this in the Parker area, and families recognize that,” says Brian. “This is an opportunity to provide their children with customized education at the most critical age when they develop their love of learning.”

The Ivybrook Way

At Ivybrook Academy, children are provided rich learning materials that give them instant feedback and provide multiple possibilities. Rather than sitting at desks listening to a teacher’s instruction, children direct their education and choose their tasks. Students choose hands-on projects and research topics of interest in thoughtfully prepared classroom environments.

Children are empowered to succeed on their own terms in student-led classrooms, promoting interaction with peers. Children can pursue their own interests and revisit and build upon ideas at their own pace. At Ivybrook, it is this way that children are encouraged to raise their voices and use their talents with confidence.

Education is not a “one size fits all” format at Ivybrook Academy. Each student is unique and they each learn, remember, process, and understand in different ways. Children receive a flexible and more authentic curriculum customized to each of their needs and their individual learning interests.

Class Offerings

Ivybrook Academy’s programs are designed for children as young as 18 months through 5 years old.

All classes are offered on a half day schedule that take place on a variety of days during the week.

Ivybrook Academy collaborates between parents and educators to create a top-quality system that cultivates a learning experience that works best for each individual child. The core belief is that children must feel comfortable in their environment to ask questions, find answers, and have opportunities to explore, create, problem-solve, and collaborate. We firmly believed that this approach to education establishes a solid foundation for the child’s future success.

Book a Tour

Ivybrook Academy Parker is booking private tours daily. We are excited to share with families how each classroom is uniquely designed and equipped to meet the education level of a child. Parents are encouraged to schedule a visit to meet our principal and see the new campus to obtain a full understanding of how children flourish in this one-of-a-kind environment.
