DENVER, CO — Lorde, the Grammy-award-winning electropop superstar behind hits like “Royals” and “Green Light,” will stop in Denver, Colorado in April as part of 2022’s Solar Power tour.

The New Zealand-born singer will perform on April 27 at The Mission Ballroom. The concert starts at 7:30 p.m. and features Remi Wolf as the opening act.

The Solar Power tour kicked off in Nashville and was Lorde’s first full concert since she performed in Mexico City in 2018, according to Rolling Stone.

Classified by Lorde as her "weed album," “Solar Power” was released in 2021 and is a departure from the synth-heavy, dance-oriented music of her previous albums. “Solar Power” is driven by piano and acoustic guitar arrangements, giving it more of an indie-folk feel.

Over a series of three acts, the Solar Power tour relies heavily on songs from its namesake album, but also features plenty of tunes from “Melodrama” and a small dose of her debut album, “Pure Heroine,” Rolling Stone reported.
