Multiple Shootings Over Christmas Weekend In Denver
Police investigated a number of city shootings that left 4 dead and several injured in Montbello, Lowry and City Park West neighborhoods.

DENVER, CO — Violence sparked in Denver the weekend before the Christmas holiday as police investigated several fatal shootings. Four people died of gunshot wounds and one was injured in Denver. One suspect was arrested, but two of the alleged shooters remain at large police said.
None of the four victim's names were released by Denver police. Those names will be released by the office of the Denver Medical Examiner.
On Sunday afternoon police responded to a homicide in the Montbello neighborhood, near Titan Court and Titan Way. Police tweeted that a male victim had been injured in a shooting. That man later died. No suspect information was released.

Early Saturday morning, Nicholas Dansby, 29, was arrested in connection with a triple shooting in the Lowry neighborhood that killed two men and injured a woman. The shooting occurred in the Lowry Ridge Apartment complex at 10000 E Alameda Ave. Dansby is being held in Denver County jail on no bond, facing charges of first-degree murder and first-degree assault. Monday police said the arrest affidavit for Dansby was sealed by the court, so no further information was immediately available.
Later Saturday, police found a man dead of an apparent homicide near a 7-Eleven in the 1900 block of East Colfax Avenue. Police did not yet release any suspect information about this death.
