White Christmas In Colorado? You Never Know...
Denver metro has a prediction of snow this week, but it won't likely show up til late Christmas night, unless there's some holiday magic.

DENVER, CO – It's looking like a white Christmas in Denver is unlikely. But you never know! The Denver metro area has a prediction of snow this week, but it won't likely show up til late Christmas night and into Wednesday, the day after Christmas. There may be a white Christmas in the mountains, though.
The National Weather Service reports that snow has fallen in Denver on Christmas day only 15 percent of the time since observations began more than a century ago.
The heaviest snowfall on Christmas Day since records began in 1882 was 7.8 inches which occurred in 2007, the NWS said. If a white Christmas just means having snow on the ground on Christmas day, the odds increase to 38 percent (45 days in 118 years since snow depth measurements began in 1900). The most snow ever recorded on the ground in Denver on Christmas Day was 24 inches which was measured after the Christmas Eve blizzard of 1982, the NWS said.
