Winter Storm Warning Issued For Metro Denver, Boulder
The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for metro Denver, Boulder and other Front Range cities.
DENVER, CO — The National Weather Service has issued an alert for Denver's metro area, Boulder and other Colorado cities. A winter storm warning will be in effect from 2 p.m. Wednesday to 5 a.m. Thursday.
Between 4 and 8 inches of snow is possible in some areas, and the foothills may get up to 12 inches, weather officials said.
"Travel could be difficult," the alert read. "The hazardous conditions could impact the Wednesday evening commute."

The advisory was issued for Denver, Boulder, Aurora, Arvada, Lakewood, Golden, Littleton, Brighton, Parker and other cities. A full list of cities can be found here.
"If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency," the alert read.
