This look back traces how the former Golden Junior High track became today’s hub, and even notes the old community center’s evolution into the Golden Library building.
   

• Hot-Shooting Sixta Seals Mines' Win Over Chadron State (minesathletics.com) — Colorado School of Mines women’s basketball, based in Golden, stretched its win streak to four by routing Chadron State 81–55 at Lockridge Arena, where they haven’t lost to CSC since 2012. Hot-shooting guard Sixta poured in 22 points, while Baldessari added 20 as the Orediggers dominated with steals and three-pointers ahead of hosting South Dakota Mines on Saturday.
