• Green Mountain High School psychologist convicted on five counts, including sexual assault on a child (denver7.com) — In Golden, a Jefferson County jury has convicted a Green Mountain High School psychologist on multiple counts, including sexual assault on a child by a person in a position of trust. The case, initiated after a Safe2Tell tip, also involved drug and delinquency charges, and the defendant was remanded into custody with sentencing set for April 2. 
• Denver Water rates increase (denvergazette.com) — Denver Water customers, including those served by facilities north of Golden, will see modest rate increases starting this month to fund major system upgrades. Over the next decade, $1.7 billion will go toward replacing aging mains, expanding the Northwater treatment plant near Golden, and completing the Gross Reservoir expansion while keeping annual bill impacts relatively small.
