• 2 sentenced in connection with death of baby in Lakewood (9news.com) — A Jefferson County judge in Golden has sentenced two people to prison for their roles in the 2024 meth-related death of 11-week-old Ezra Johnson in Lakewood. Prosecutors said the baby ingested meth from a bottle in a room where drugs and baby items were stored together, leading both caregivers to plead guilty to child abuse resulting in death.
