- Redistricting means City Council candidates may have changed for Denver residents, even if they haven't moved. The maps are re-drawn each decade to account for population shifts. (9 News)
- Opera Colorado needs extras for its production of Puccini’s Turandot at the Denver Performing Arts Complex. 4 female and 4 male extras are needed. They must be available from April 28 until May 14. (9 News)
- Three Denver elementary schools were placed in secure status yesterday morning due to nearby police activity. Secure status means that no one can come into or leave from the school building. Lauren Snell, a school district spokesperson, explained "We don’t want anything with the police, the activity outside, to come into our schools." (The Denver Post)
- New public art is coming to downtown Denver near Union Station. The outdoor art instillation is called "Pipelines" and comments on "the cyclical nature of resource management: supply, waste and recycling," explain artists Julia Jamrozik and Coryn Kempster. (The Denver Post)
